During our Midday Create-and-Play, crayon and marker carousels, tape, stickers, hole punches, brads, glue, and paint are always available to freely use! After a bit of play, instructors will read a thematic book before diving in to a more focused art lesson. If students aren’t in the making mood, they can still explore color through mixing balls of play dough, building with magnatiles, or using a light table!

For this session we’ll be reading Lucy Ruth Cummins Our Pool and making a pop art prints of ice cream cones! We’ll also be making our own lemonade and using permanent markers to make our own colorful window clings!
